Delia cowl style neckline ruched front knit top (PDF)

Featuring: fitted around the shoulders, bust and hips, semi fitted at the waist top, with a ruched cowl style front panel. Front panel offers three options: top ruched (from the bust to the neckline), half ruched (from the waist to the neckline) or fully ruched. Comes in short, hip and longline lengths. Can be made a sleeveless top, cap sleeve top (finished with bands) or with short, 3/4  or long sleeves.

The pattern offers the following options:

View A - a sleeveless top with top/half ruched front

View B - a cap sleeve top with fully ruched front

View C - a long / 3/4 / shorts sleeves top with half ruched front

The pdf pattern comes in REGULAR, PETITE and TALL with sizes from US0-US30

PETITE 152-160 cm /5 1” - 5 3”
REGULAR 162-170 cm / 5 4” - 5 6”
TALL 170-178 cm / 5 7” - 5 9”

DIFFICULTY

The pdf pattern has a skilled beginner level (1-3/10) with easy to follow detailed tutorial.  Takes 1-2 hours to finish (time may vary depending on your skills, equipment and supplies).

Main fabric - Light to medium weight knit fabric with 30-50% horizontal and 10-20% vertical stretch and medium to good recovery

US0-US16

Top/Half Ruched: 1.05 m / 1 1/8 yards
Fully Ruched: 1.15 m / 1 1/4 yards
For Sleeves (US0-US16), add:

Shorter Sleeves: 0.2 m / 1/4 yard
Short Sleeves: 0.26 m / 3/8 yard

For Sleeveless or Cap Sleeve Versions:

The bands/bindings can be cut with the same yardage.
If using different fabrics for the bands/bindings:

NOTIONS

1. (optional) 2 x 7.5 cm / 3 in strips of fusible interfacing, clear elastic or twill tape to stabilize shoulder seams.
